Yeah definitely get Forza 2 and Skate 2 I say Then in a couple of months when you're itching for something else as well, see what's out that you like the look of!

Do people seriously think Button got better this year?? How about Barrichello... was he one of the top drivers before when he was getting podiums at Ferrari, and then became a not very good driver, and now has come back to being one of the fasted drivers this year? No, of course not....

I took this pic at the Monterey Historics a few years ago, there were 20 of the 36 original GTOs in this race, proof that many of them do in fact get used

I think

FM2 > GT5P

and probably

FM3 > GT5

but as far as the features and quality of the consoles

PS3 > XBOX360

Quote from G!NhO :It seems like you have to be a rocket scientist to even use Mac and you have to be alien minded to even make any windows stuff work on it.

I'd rather have it easy, and not to load 100 things up just to play a freaking game. Ill stick ma dual bootz in y0 ass.

It's actually really really easy. I am crap with computer stuff and I get on much better with my Mac than my PC. And it took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to get windows installed on my mac. Then switching between XP and OSX is just a reboot which takes about a minute. A nice bonus is that my mac hasn't crashed once or got a single virus since I bought it close to 3 years ago. Actually, that's not true, I did get a virus on XP :P But I keep all my files on the OSX partition so I just removed XP and reinstalled it, then put LFS and iRacing back on XP and I'm good.

It's a topic about Macs, and Dustin is involved, what do you expect? :P

Go into Applications, then Utilities, then open 'Boot Camp Assistant'. It's pretty straight forward from there if you have your windows CD. If you still need help, search on google, there is lots of advice.

Quote from Tomasevich :Mind my asking the specs of your computer?

2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB ram, ATI RadeonHD2600 256MB. That 150 fps is without any AA or anything, but with all the details in LFS on max. And it does drop down from that depending on number of cars in view. But I rarely get below 100.

My most memorable experience of chassis flex was driving a Mercedes convertible around the 'Ring and not being able to open the glove box afterwards, no matter how hard I pulled on it.

I wish it were as simple as using the 'correct' amount of lock. With my DFP, the force feedback is just too slow when you're trying to correct oversteer in an LX6 with full steering lock. I think the G25 is fast enough, but with the DFP when you're trying to force the wheel faster than the FF motors want to go, it's not a lot of fun.

I run LFS on my imac in XP using bootcamp, and it runs really nicely. 1920x1200 on the 24in screen and with all the details up I get about 150fps.

I have only ridden four stroke motorcycles, so I can't really give an opinion on how they compare to 2 strokes Although the powerband of the 2 stroke race kart I've driven was fun.

You should have made this a public poll

I love how our views on something as complex as religion and spirituality are being summed up with a yes no poll question And if the question is actually 'does religion exist?', then regardless of your views, the answer is yes. :P

Quote from XCNuse :I'm sure a lot of you have missed me...

You were gone?

But yeah it's nice to get something in good shape with lowish kms. I got my car 9 years ago and it's still running great now, which is good considering it's a 20 year old car and I've not put any money into keeping it running. Pay more now and you will be happy later when you're not needing to repair it all the time

Quote from mcintyrej :Brilliant! Anyone interested remotely in racing will love you for it, people who don't know racing will just ask - why do you have a tissue tattoo?

Thanks! Haha yeah lots of people think it's an island. The main reason I got it is the 'Ring is the last trip I went on with my Dad before he died, and it was the best time we spent together. But also obviously it's just an awesome place and represents a lot to do with cars and racing

Quote from NotAnIllusion :Oh we all accept that other people prefer Macs, it just happens to be a fact that those who prefer Macs do so because they're too ignorant and inferior to choose teh PC instead

Hahaha. I will just accept that macs are inferior and that it sucks to only be able to run LFS at 1920x1200 at 150fps on my 24in mac!

I LOVE how people get so defensive about what they choose to use. Yeah, we can all ignore dustin and his mad love for OSX, but other than that I find it funny when people choose to say one operating system or computer is shite. Just use what you like and accept some people like different things :P

And as for the question as to why you would buy a mac and put windows on it, is it really that hard to figure out? Then you get to do anything you want in OSX and windows without having to compromise by choosing just one OS. Hard concept to grasp, I know...

I run OSX and XP on my Mac. Mostly use OSX for day to day stuff and XP for LFS and iRacing, and backing up my blackberry (all of the programs I've found for doing that on OSX are crap!).

Interesting fact of the day... The Pazzo factory is about 5 miles from my house, and that's where all Pazzos are made. So no shipping costs for me, haha.

1990 Mazda Miata which I bought in 2001 and still have. Bought it with 95,000km and now it has 255,000km. It was built in April '89, first month of regular production. Still going strong although the paint is looking crappy these days and I haven't been looking after the car amazingly well lately!

2007 Kawasaki 650R which I bought new and still have now, has 25,000km on it now.

I always love how people make comments that aren't funny, and then when they are not well received they say 'well it was supposed to be funny'.
